The Strings Club is seeking an experienced and passionate Admin and Events Assistant to join our friendly team at the Head Office.

In this rewarding role, your role will involve ensuring the smooth running of both our Ofsted-registered Holiday Camps and #Music4 All School Sessions - which both together have welcomed almost half a million children since 2012. 

This role is perfect for someone who has hands-on experience, a keen interest in art/events administration and looking for a rewarding new role in a fast-paced company.

The Strings Club Head Office Roles

Key Responsibilities:

  • #Music4All Sessions and Holiday Camps
  • Managing our #Music4All Sessions and responding to any on-site issues that may arise such as staffing.
  • Contacting potential new schools via our nomination scheme. 
  • Assisting with the preparation of our Holiday Camps including staffing (where necessary).
  • Ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations and our customer policies and procedures (T’s and C’s).
  • Help prepare our Holiday Camp dashboards alongside our Admin and Recruitment Manager.
  • Work alongside the Head Office to complete a Post Event Evaluation Meeting to ensure all Holiday Camps maintain to a high standard.
  • Checking our Holiday Camp Online Galleries to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Administrative 
  • Working with Admin and Recruitment Manager in processing enquiries and bookings via telephone, email, online, whatsapp
  • Ensuring all customers receive our “Essential Info” emails before each event 
  • Being the main point of call for customer enquiries and feedback (telephone, email, website etc.) during Holiday Camp times and taking the necessary action to ensure we maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Managing our bookings via third party sites such as Bright Horizons/My Family Care.
  • Assisting administrative duties as answering the Head Office phone and responding to emails/queries.
  • Attending events such as awards and networking opportunity (where relevant)

Desired Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in the cultural, education, or childcare sector

Basic Info

  • Application Deadline: Monday, 16th December 2024 - 5pm.
  • Interview Dates: Week commencing 16th December. (Specific info TBC)
  • Desired Start Dates: wc 6th January/ wc 13th January
  • Salary: Starting at £29,040.00 (pro rata) plus bonus
  • Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, 3 days per week
