London is full of spooky fun this Halloween, and you don’t need to spend a lot to enjoy it. Here are five free, family-friendly activities to check out during the October half-term.

The British Library is hosting free creative drop-in sessions from 11am - 3pm throughout the half term. These sessions are perfect for kids to play, read and explore! Afterwards, wander through the library’s cool exhibits, full of historic books and manuscripts.

Join the free Trick or Treat Trail in Covent Garden! Kids can test their observation skills whilst looking for fun facts while enjoying the festive Halloween decorations. Plus, there are some hidden treats along the way!

The Museum of London Docklands offers free Halloween craft workshops, spooky stories, and pirate-themed activities during half-term. Perfect for families! Don’t forget to visit the interactive Mudlarks Gallery for more hands-on fun.

Go on a self-guided ghost walk through Hampstead Heath. With its eerie woods and haunted history, it’s the perfect spooky outing. Head out just before sunset for an extra spooky atmosphere!

Visit Vauxhall City Farm, where you’ll find a range of exciting Halloween-themed activities for kids, all the while being in the company of adorable farm animals! Free activities include completing themed activity sheets, taking photos with animals and watching child-friendly spooky films.
